A day at the Oregon Coast

Saturday the 13th, took us for a day trip to Cannon Beach on the Oregon Coast. The weather was great, in town it was sunny and warm, and on the beach the sun was shining through the fog rolling in and out, and the breeze/wind kept it cool. Back at home it was close to 100 degrees, out here it was in the 70's. It was a great escape to beat the summer heat we are having.

Emily couldn't wait to stretch her legs and play play play!

Daddy got Emily's kite up in the air, it was the perfect weather for it, but she seemed to have no interest at all, the water was much more fun.

The little river flowing in to the sea was the biggest hit! She danced and played for the longest time.

The fog rolled in and out as the time passed, it was weird because the sun still shone through it as it came in.

After a few hours of playing in the sand and water, she realized she was cold, and we wrapped up, and headed in to town for some food.

A trip to the Oregon Zoo........

Last Friday took us to the Orgon Zoo. We start every trip out there with a visit to the sea lions exhibit. Emily is on the right with her hands on the glass, the sea lions swim right up to the glass and over the top of you, it's quite impressive!
