Planck's Place

Welcome. If you are here, then more than likely it means you were invited. What is a blog you say? Well, it's a type of website run a bit like a news letter. I can edit and add things as often as I like. So in a way it's a journal online. I created this just to share with our family and friends across the miles. Check back often and add comments when you feel so compelled. Most of the photos are of Emily, but if you look often enough, you will catch the occasional one of Tony and I.

Daddy's girl!

Fishing but not catching! Emily practices with her rod and reel, so Daddy can take her real fishing this summer.

Snakes!

Ok, there are no poisioness snakes in our area here. Having said that, that's my girl! I used to spend hours catching snakes when I was young... must run in the family. She runs from spiders but has to catch snakes!

Flirts

She's got them swooning! Daddy better oil up that shot gun, the boys are hanging around already! Seriously.... This is the neighbor boy. Emily just loves to have him come out and play in front of the house..... He's the closest thing to a sibling she has known, and they fight like siblings too!

Suburbanites

While loading Emily in the car this morning, I look across the street and what do I see in broad daylight? Urban wildlife.... OK a couple of raccoons, but still, this is a very rare site... and I just happened to have my camera handy. The one on the right we have nick named "Bob" we have seen it twice in our own yard before. It has escaped a dog or possibly a trap because it has no tail. After loosing 5 fish from our pond, I immagine Bob back in that trap occasionally......

Fun with flowers.............

"oh to be young and roll in the grass again!"

Cherry Blossoms

A spring boquet. I caught this one at just the right moment. That strand of hair is ALWAYS in her face these days, next time I will have the hairdresser cut it off! Although, it HAS become her trademark.......

Contemplation

Our pride and joy... taken Friday, April 29th 2005 in the back yard, she was sporting her newest hat for me in between running from the spiders in her playground area.
